Jewelry Care
While our pieces are designed for everyday wear, regular cleaning and a little extra love goes a long way.
14k Gold
Though gold is one of the least reactive metals, we recommend removing gold jewelry before showering, swimming, and sweating, as the exposure to moisture, body oils, and chemicals can dull its shine and in rare cases, cause the gold to oxidize. This typically occurs in places where gold is in constant contact with skin (such as earring posts, inside rings, etc.) but can be easily remedied with proper cleaning and polishing.
Show your gold jewelry some love by regularly cleaning with warm water, mild detergent, and a soft toothbrush, or polishing gently with a soft cloth. A jewelry polishing cloth may be used for a little extra shine or to remove tarnish.
Diamonds
Diamonds are incredibly durable, but to maintain their brilliance, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and situations where stone may come into contact with rough surfaces.
To clean, use warm water and a mild detergent, and gently scrub with a soft-bristled tooth brush.
Gemstones
Gemstones deserve a little extra love. Follow the care instructions detailed above and be mindful of removing gemstone jewelry before engaging in physical activities.
Gently clean your gemstone jewelry with a soft cloth and store in a clean, dry place.
