This has been a hell of a year for small businesses, especially in the jewelry world. Consequently, our Fall Collection faced significant production delays (on top of exponentially rising material costs and global trade chaos) and it will now be our Holiday Collection–but some things are worth the wait! I really feel that way about our newest pieces. Not only will you see a continuation of our core collection with new Claws, but we will also be adding a handful of new earrings that fully embody the evolution of  Yū|Mono’s aesthetic. In short, these are the kinds of pieces that I’ve wanted to make for years, but for a variety of reasons (mostly related to production limitations and other small business growing pains), had been relegated to the pages of my sketchbook, waiting for their chance to shine. We worked really hard this year to make these pieces a reality, and I’m so excited to finally share them with you.

I’ll go into more detail in future posts about the inspiration for the new designs, but for now, I’ll just say that as a designer, this new collection feels fulfilling for me. It’s a representation of the kinds of pieces I want to make, and want to keep making. Creativity ebbs and flows, and progress is never linear, but I’m hoping this year marks the beginning of a new chapter for Yū|Mono.
